Sales Manager - Boats

The Sales Manager will be responsible for increasing company sales across all functions and will work alongside the senior management team to position the company in order to successfully increase sales.

This position will be a full lifecycle sales position with most enquiries coming through word of mouth, industry magazines / advertising or trade shows. The Sales Manager will take control of this process and ensure a healthy sales pipeline.

The successful candidate will join a market leading manufacturer who have an excellent reputation in the marketplace.

This will include the generation of leads through;

  • Account Management
  • Attending relevant trade shows / conferences
  • Advertising campaigns
  • Effective Account Management
  • Referrals

The successful candidate will assist with targeted advertising across the following functions;

  • Industry magazines
  • Social Media campaigns
  • Company website
  • Production of brochures and sales literature

Account Management of new and existing customers


  • Full lifecycle sales process from initial enquiry to delivery
  • Requirements gathering
  • Initial design planning of the product to fit customer brief
  • Quotation
  • Sales Administration
  • Customer service delivery – to include progress reports, final inspection
  • Work alongside aftersales teams and service teams

Candidate Profile;

  • Proven sales record within a standalone position
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills
  • Excellent Account Management skills
  • Full drivers licence
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work under own initiative
  • Any experience within selling boats, yachts or similar would be useful but is not essential

Location – Central Liverpool

Salary – Very competitive base salary with an excellent commission structure
